Sealift Logistics Command Central plays a vital role in Department of Defense strategy in the Central Command area of operations, including the global war on terrorism, by operating ships that deliver critical combat cargo, food, fuel, ammunition and supplies to sailors, soldiers, airmen and Marines on the front lines of the fight.
