Capt. Timothy McCully, USN, Commander, Military Sealift Command Pacific (right) presents JoAnn Yamane (left) a Meritorious Civilian Service Award. Yamane was honored for her superior performance while assigned to the Contracts and Business Management Directorate from November 1989 to December 2001.

Chief Warrant Officer Randy Wilson received a Meritorious Service Medal recognizing his work as the officer in charge aboard oilers USNS Tippecanoe and USNS Rappahannock from April 2000 to February 2002 and his superior achievements during his 26 years of naval service. According to his citation, Wilson coordinated deliveries in excess of several billion barrels of fuel and millions of dollars in parts and cargo to support Navy ships operating in the Third, Fifth and Seventh Fleets. He also successfully executed two transfers of communications suite responsibility to civilian mariners in support of the Military Sealift Command civilian-substitution program.

Oiler USNS Guadalupe crewmembers reached deep into their pocketbooks during this year's Combined Federal Campaign, exceeding last year's $5,402 donation by $5,980 for a total pledge of $11,384.24. Guadalupe contributors included eight Pioneer Donors, five Patriot Donors, two Eagle Donors and two Golden Eagle Donors.
