POLARIS POINT, Guam (Sept. 10, 2013) -- Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Joshua Sundeen, assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), attaches an MK-48 training shape to the boat. The MK-48 training shape was used during an over-the-side recovery exercise to train Sailors and civilian mariners on torpedo recovery at sea. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
