Life onboard a USNS ship

You will live in a two-person stateroom, with your own head.

In port the rooms have cable access, and at sea we have SITE TV which plays movies on 2 to 3 channels. You can ship a television if you want.

For storage you will have a large 2-door locker; there is also a storage room for your luggage.

We have a cardio room and weight room onboard. You can also jog underway on the main deck.

As of now, we are 4-section duty inport.

You will be given a ship’s email account. We have Internet access onboard, which is especially helpful with maintaining your accounts.

Battery-powered clock
NFCU Visa check card (you can use it in most ports without a problem)
Swimming/snorkeling equipment
Bicycle
Passport
Camera
Make sure you come with a full sea bag
